Delicate: Piano Lullabies gives you the option to “sing one and let it run.” Sophie Belle is the “one” you can sing before you “let it run.”
Of course you don’t have to sing, but your child will love hearing you try even if you think you can’t sing. Babies don’t judge.
If your child is not named Sophie, you may want to personalize the lyrics.
When Sophie’s younger brother Asher was born, we personalized the lyrics as follows:
“We love you more than words, ever could declare, you’re our Asher Bear” (see lines 5-7 in the video).
The truth is, your baby is just happy that you are singing, connecting and loving her. As long as you’re able to come up with something that feels good to you, you needn’t worry if makes sense to anybody else.
As you watch the video above, you’ll see the line of lyrics turn white just as it is time to sing them with the piano accompaniment. The piano part includes the vocal melody so you can sing right along with the piano.
If you would like help personalizing the lyrics for your child, please let me know in the comments. I have yet to be stumped. 😊
